FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: When I enter my email address I get an error saying it was not found. What should I do?
A: Check to make sure you are entering the email address on file for you with Becker CPA Review. If you are sure that you are entering the correct email address, fill out a trouble ticket and tell us your name, email, what courses you are taking, where you are taking them, and who your instructors are.

Q: I can enter my email address correctly, but my name is not on the list.
A: Make sure that the email address you are using is the correct one. Look for derivations or alternate spellings of your name. If you changed your name since you started taking courses at Becker CPA Review look for your previous name. If you stll need help, fill out a trouble ticket and tell us your name, your email address, what courses you are taking, where you are taking them, and who your instructors are.

Q: One of more of my courses is not on the list
A: Not all courses are evaluated.

Q: A course is listed that I dropped.
A: Simply do not evaluate that course. No further action is needed.

Q: A course is listed that I have never been a student in.
A: Simply do not evaluate that course. No further action is needed.

Q: The wrong instructor is listed for the course.
A: Fill out the evaluation, and note the name of the proper instructor in one of the text survey questions. Please place three asterisks (***) in the comment so that it gets recognized as a wrong instructor.

Q: I filled out an evaluation for the wrong course.
A: Fill out a trouble ticket and tell us your name, email address, the course you evaluated, and the course you THOUGHT you evaluated.

Q: I cannot complete the evaluations because I get stuck on one of the pages and cannot proceed no matter what I click on.
A: This is most likely because you do not have "cookies" of "javascript" enabled in your web browser. To see how to enable Javascript, go to http://support.microsoft.com/gp/howtoscript. To make sure cookies are enabled, see http://www.google.com/cookies.html. If the problem persists, fill out a trouble ticket and tell us your name, email address, and most importantly the type of computer you are using (PC, Mac, Linux, etc.).

Q: Can my instructor see my results? How do I know my feedback is anonymous?
A: All student responses to the evaluation forms are anonymous (unless you identify yourself within the comment boxes). Your name and email address are not saved anywhere and cannot be seen by instructors or Becker administrators. The anonymous and cumulative ratings and comments of all students as a whole are shown to your instructor the week after the term has ended and grades are posted, so your feedback has no influence on grades or instructor perceptions while the class is in session.

Q: In what way do you use my name and email address?
A: The evaluation system uses your email address to send you evaluation announcements and reminders. Your full name is used to validate that you are a registered student in the course you are evaluating. Your name and email address are not gathered in the evaluation and are stored in a separate database and, therefore, cannot be associated with the ratings or comments you made.
